Every resident is different, which is why we offer a range of care tailored to individual needs.
Residential Care
Full-time support with daily living in a warm, homely setting — for those who need help day to day but want to retain their independence.
Day Care
Join us for the day when we have space to accommodate you — company, activities and a proper hot meal included.
Respite Care
Short-term stays that give family carers a break, with the same standard of care as our full-time residents.
We also support residents with a range of other needs, including stroke recovery, palliative and end-of-life care, COPD, convalescent care, and acquired brain injury, alongside day care places.

Meet The team
HighWray was founded by Janet Shaw in 2008, who ran the home for 18 years before retiring in 2026. Today it's led by her daughter Lauren, whose own connection to HighWray goes back to the very beginning, alongside Registered Manager Sarah. Together they bring 47 years of combined NHS experience and a shared belief in getting to know every resident as an individual.
